Osheen, a superb Maine Coon as the cat muse EVERLAND 2020

In 2020, Osheen, a 2 year old Maine Coon (at the time of the results) was elected cat muse EVERLAND 2020. He was born in La Wantzenau in Alsace at Anne Rossignol’s cattery “Luscinia cattery”. Osheen weighs 8kg knowing that growth in Maine Coons takes 3 to 4 years… So he hasn’t finished growing! His bone structure is powerful and muscular.

Osheen is a regular at competitions. Indeed, since he was very small, he has taken part in many exhibitions where he has won many prizes. Notably at the Expo LOOF in Chalampé in the kitten category, he won several prestigious prizes :

* 8th place in the ring

* Best in show

* Best kitten in the ‘Best of Best’

Osheen’s character traits

Marie, Osheen’s mistress, explains in more detail how her cat behaves on a daily basis: “Her favourite games are the springs. He can play with them for more than an hour! Otherwise he loves the feathers and his little foam ball. He is not interested in other balls. We call him cat-dog and when we throw him his ball, he comes to bring it back to us so that we can throw it back to him”. The only problem is that Marie has to hide her ball before going to bed because otherwise, at 3 o’clock in the morning, he puts it on her face to play.

Osheen is a very cuddly cat with a lot of glue: “He purrs with a quarter turn. In the morning when I’m in the bathroom he gets into one of the sinks to watch me put on my make-up”, Marie tells us.

Osheen also likes to do ninja on the curtains. Marie has to raise all the curtains before she leaves the house !

Do you know what Osheen hates ?

Water! He hates the rain, he gets really panicky when it rains and he doesn’t like baths either. Marie makes him take a bath before every exhibition and he doesn’t like it very much…
